Benjamin Kletzel was born in 1932 in Pervomaisk (near Odessa, USSR). Since 1941 lived in Tashkent. Graduated from Art Department of Tashkent Theater and Art Institute (1967). Moved to Samara in 1967. Member of USSR Artists Union (1976). Repatriated to Israel in 1990. Member of Israeli Artists Union (1991).
Benjamin Kletzel:
"Modest, subdued, and at the same time inspiring light of biblical mountains, the plasticity of our surroundings - all this is my tuning fork, which helps me to express my love for G-d and Israel in my works."
